Frequently asked questions

Are your products compatible with the magnetic ride equipped models?

Our solutions have been specifically designed to work in harmony with the magnetic ride without losing the OME characteristics.

Can I buy this product in my local area?

We have a network of resellers. Check out the ‘Resellers’ section on https://mss.company/join-our-network.

Can you tell me the spring rates for the MSS Sports and Track version?

We do not share spring rates as we’re aware of competitors trying to copy our products. Sports is suited for everyday driving and can also be used for occasional track rides. Track is geared towards race circuits. It’s 25% stiffer than Sports.

Do the springs always sit the same way around, i.e. orange on top, black at the bottom?

This depends on the vehicle model. When fitting your MSS ride management solution, please make sure you follow the installation instructions for your particular set.

Do you manufacture a product for my car?

All current manufacture models are listed in the ‘Products’ section of our website. If you want to suggest a new product, please send your suggestion to info@mss.company and we will evaluate the feasibility.

How can I track my shipment?

Please email sales@mss.company for shipping details.

How do I become a distributor or dealer?

To join our partnership programme, please email sales@mss.company and let us know your business name, business registration number and website URL.

I want to improve my standard springs, but I don’t want to lower the vehicle. I live down a dirt road, so clearance is important. Should I go for Urban or Sports?

Our products allow you to maintain the stock height. The fully adjustable Sports kit would be your best option. It’s designed to work with the OE shock absorbers, and you can adjust to get the clearance you need for your daily use.

Is there a difference between the front and rear ride height with MSS fitted?

Yes, the rear must be set 5mm higher than the front. Further information can be found in the install guide that comes with your product.

I’ve fitted an MSS set to my vehicle, but I am experiencing a lot of noise – why?

The noise may be due to the following reasons:

1. Rears being too low causing the front to raise slightly. The noise will be particularly loud on poor road surfaces.

2. Loose end links: double-check and tighten them if necessary.

3. Defective OE upper strut bearing: The control arm bushes have perished.

4. The engine mount needs to be checked.

After you have done the above and still find that the issues are still there, please contact your reseller for further inspections. Also, please send images of the sprig on the car to info@mss.company.

What happens if I’m not available to accept the shipment?

In the UK, the courier usually tries to redeliver your parcel the next working day. They might also leave a note with redelivery or pick-up instructions.

What happens if my shipment doesn’t arrive?

If there are any issues with the delivery, we will gladly help in any way we can. Email us at info@mss.company. Alternatively, you can fill in the contact form on https://mss.company/contact. We aim to reply within 24 hours, excluding weekends and UK bank holidays.

What height settings should I expect when MSS is fitted?

This depends on your vehicle’s condition and which other systems are fitted. Our solution will enable you to lower the vehicle up to approximately 30mm +/- 3mm, depending on the additional options on your vehicle.

What is the benefit to adjusting the ride height on a vehicle?

Adjusting the ride height of your car will lower the centre of gravity. Lowered suspension lets your car sit closer to the ground and increases stability through turns or during emergency manoeuvres. Your vehicle will benefit from improved aerodynamics, improved handling and increased visual appeal – without compromising comfort.

What is the correct way to measure the height of the springs?

Measure from fender edge to wheel hub centre. Ensure the rear axle sits 5mm higher than the front axle, and not higher than 10mm. The rear height is key to making the ride smooth.

What is the main difference in the three types of MSS sets you offer?

The difference between the Urban, Sports and Track sets is spring stiffness. Urban is suited for daily use on all road surfaces offering increased comfort. Sports will provide a more connected feel during light track and everyday use. Track is made for high-performance vehicles for regular racing and moderate road use.

What shocks should I pair with my MSS Spring set?

That is up to your personal preference. Most of our regular customers tend not to change their shocks. However, we have found that Bilstein products work very well with MSS sets.

What sort of adjustments should I make to the springs when towing?

MSS springs are height-adjustable. Raise the vehicle when towing, i.e. the set should be used at the optimal height rather than being lowered.

What warranty do you offer for your product?

MSS products come with a lifetime replacement warranty to the original purchaser. If you wish to file a warranty claim, please complete your warranty details which can be found with all newly purchased products.

Where can I get further help?

Please contact us at info@mss.company. We aim to get back to you within 24 hours. However, we’re closed on weekends and UK bank holidays.

Who do I speak to if my order arrives damaged?

All claims for damaged products must be made with the shipping carrier. If you notice that the package is severely damaged, please refuse the shipment at the door. If the box shows signs of damage, immediately inspect the contents. Do not use or install the product until inspected by the shipping carrier. Report the damage to MSS within 24 hours of delivery. Please keep all shipping packaging materials for carrier inspection. MSS cannot initiate any claims with the carrier.
